InterCasino, powered by Cryptologic, a Wagerlogic Division, is the perfect example of what an internet casino should be, and this isn't surprising because they've had over a decade to get it right. In fact, starting in 1996 with persistent rumours that they were the first, they are undeniably at least one of the earliest online casinos around.
Awards
The time and experience to get it right hasn't gone unnoticed or underappreciated. The list of accolades and awards they have collected, from both publications and players seems almost endless. While receiving approval from Excite Web Directory, Online Players Association (OPA), PC Computing, and Rolling Good Times, AnteUp Gambling lifted them to true fame when they named them "Top Pick" in 1999. Beginning in 2001, InterCasino's hot streak gained them Gambling Online Magazine's coveted "Best Casino" award for six years in a row, proving their management skills and the satisfaction of many online gamers. In 2002, CasinoMeister, seconded the declaration of InterCasino as "Best Casino". Since then, InterCasino has also been collecting awards from Strictly Slots Magazine and Casino Player Magazine, among others.
Bonuses and Ongoing Promotional Offers
When you first register and every month thereafter, you will be eligible for a match bonus of up to £50 on your initial deposit. By entering bonus codes (available from their website) when you make your deposit, you can also gain up to £50 or more earmarked for playing all your favourite games. Other promotions include their "Tournaments Royale" where by paying the entry fee of £10, you are allocated £500 of tournament chips to wager over 30 minutes attempting to win more than your peers to gain the first prize of £250. Power House is an especially popular promotion: during certain times of the week if you wager £200 InterCasino will automatically award you with a £10 bonus!
Unfortunately, InterCasino has a somewhat complex scheme for clearing your bonuses, with different promotions having very different wagering requirements, with some requiring only 18 bets and others requiring 50. Please check the details on any promotion that interests you. Also, please note, craps and baccarat are not counted towards your wager requirements.
Loyalty Program
InterCasino pays you to play and keep playing with their "Cashback Club" loyalty program. From your first bet, you're automatically enrolled. While you might expect a point for every wager, some games such as Single Deck Blackjack are only worth a half-point (when you make a £10 bet), and many are worth more: Roulette and Slots are each worth three points. InterCasino tallies the points monthly and credits £1 for every 100 points on the 25th of every month, with a rollover for players with less than 2000 credits.
Over 200 Games
While the online Java games will do for a quick fix, the serious gamer will want to download and install the software. Herein, playing games at InterCasino starts in a fashion that is rare if not unique among online casinos: you enter an honest-to-goodness 3-D virtual lobby, look around the room, see the games and the avatars of players and select a table or a slot machine - while I would have appreciated more flexibility to customize my avatar to look more like the real me, I truly loved this touch of realism, as I later did seeing the dealer's hands shuffle and layout the cards for various card games. If you don't see what you like on the floor, simply select "More Games" to easily navigate their wonderfully exhaustive selection.
Slot players will be enthralled. From classic slots, such as Fish 'N' Chips and Forbidden Fruit, to classic video slots, such as Aladdin's Lamp and Shoot-O-Rama, to casual game slots, such as the popular Bejeweled and Jewel Quest, to Frightmare Slots, to their unique line-up of Marvel Jackpot Slots, there are slot machines for all tastes.
Their offering of card games is just as rich with games like Pai Gow Poker and Texas Hold'Em Bonus, Baccarat, and even Casino Solitaire. Bonus Video Poker games such as Deuces Wild and Jacks or Better allow you to play up to 100 Hands! But, for my money, the large selection of Blackjack variants - with a payout rate of 98.69% (as of March 2007) - is where they shine, including games like Pontoon, Super Fun 21, and Multihand Blackjack.
If Roulette is your game, you won't want to miss their tables with a payout of 99.63%. However, if you're into lottery, they offer Scratch Cards and a progressive Video Keno with a jackpot of nearly a quarter million! As for their other progressive jackpots, you'll find nothing to sneeze at: Millionaire's Club currently has a jackpot of only slightly more than a half million. But that's nothing, last May, Obaesso won over four million - the world's biggest ever online casino jackpot - playing Millionaire's Club on InterCasino! You might not win so much, but you can hardly lose with their overall payout rate of 96.59%.

InterCasino offers 24 hour customer support through both e-mail and toll free phone numbers. Upon sending an e-mail asking about a promotion, I received an automated e-mail warning that a response might take four hours, but then I received my answer in about 15 minutes.
Summary
InterCasino has been a source of profitable gambling entertainment for over a decade. Not only have they made people millionaires, they've been awarded many times for their ability to please the rest of their customers. I have no qualms about their security and I'm willing to wager that I'll win big and have a hell of a lot of fun before my trust in them comes back to bite me in the arse.
