Hands down if there's a cool feature, game or online casino strategy guide First Web Casino has it. With over 300+ games, rich content and outstanding multi-language support First Web Casino really takes advantage of internet technology in order to deliver a first rate gaming experience. This gives players a unique and personal insight into what's going on behind the scenes on everything from American gambling laws, big winners, what it's like to work for an online casino and just about everything else! However, it is in this attempt to do too much that also makes the site hard to navigate. I found myself confused with information about new player bonuses, different VIP bonuses and programs being poorly labeled and scattered about the site. Other site-related navigation was similarly jarring but the actual casino gaming experience far more coherent and enjoyable.
Promotions and VIP Treatment
New players get a 100% match bonus of up to £75 on the first deposit. Players must then submit their account number through an online submission field within 14 days to get the bonus. All players also get an instant 10% back on every deposit, up to £250 for this month.
Regular Players must bet the bonus 30 times before it is transferred into their cash balance. Members of the Jackpot Factory VIP Lounge must bet the bonus ONLY 15 times before it is transferred into their cash balance. The Jackpot Factory VIP lounge is a by invitation only rewards program run by a 3rd party provider. For this reason it was notoriously hard to pin down or get specifics from. Personally on an aesthetic level I didn't like the music on the VIP site or that the design clashed with the First Web Casino design, however the benefits of the VIP club are substantial!
Different games contribute a different percentage of the wager towards the required play through:

Software and Design
The Microgaming Systems Viper software supports over 300 games, reinforcing First Web Casino as a buffet of functionality options. I appreciated that the download free flash version allows players to play for free without being hounded for any personal information and that players can also choose to set up a real account and make real money wagers on both the flash and full download versions. First Web Casino has a monopoly-like male character seen throughout the site and gaming interface giving all of it a bit of a playful and nostalgic feel for some players. Overall I was pretty disappointed in the design and how there was a visual clash between the site, gaming interface and VIP program with the exception of the monopoly guy and the general use of light blues, reds and yellows. Perhaps I have gotten too accustomed to casinos with a royal or Vegas theme. If sheer variety and options are your treat, it might be easy to overlook the less savvy design.
Customer Service and Support
One of the things that I loved best about First Web Casino was the language support. Unlike most casinos that display a zillion currencies or flags, First Web actually has full Spanish, German, French and Italian language sites that actually read well. (no Babelfish here!) Even the UK, Canadian and American sites correctly reflect their unique currency value, though there was some usage of the Dollar symbol on the UK site and no particularly British, American or Canadian colloquial language to differentiate them.
Toll Free numbers, email and FAQs are the official support roster but the sheer interactivity available on the site (once you find it) give players a lot of ways to look for answers, ask questions and give feedback.
Banking
Payment options include: MasterCard, Visa, Visa debit, Visa Electron, Diner's Club, NETeller, Moneybookers, UKASH, Click2Pay, UseMyBank, FirePay, ECOcard, PaySafeCard and direct bank transfers. Several alternative payment methods, such as FirePay, myCitadel and MoneyBookers can also net you up to 15% in deposit bonuses.
Most methods have withdrawal times of 60 days after the last deposit and in some cases 90 or 180. This is pretty stiff as far as I'm concerned but I couldn't tell if participating in the VIP program eased the burden of such a long waiting period.
Security and Pay Out Ratios
First Web Casino offers gamblers tips for how to recognize and avoid problem gambling. Even better, they provide a pop quiz. Once that was over however I managed to find out that they are indeed licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and a member of ECORGA. The payout report for May 2007 is: 94.06% for slots games, 94.84% for table games and 100.93% for poker games, and 97.05% overall. This is on the low side for everything but poker games which are actually to the player's advantage. Awesome!
