Imagine how much different Blackjack would be if you couldn't bust. That is kind of what Stravaganza is like. This game is probably the most innovative, fun to play game on the market today. It is super easy to play, and has some big payouts to help you win big. It even offers a massive Progressive Jackpot that gets bigger and bigger until someone wins it!
The game is played with five decks. It starts with players making their first bet. This is as easy as clicking on the coin you want to bet. Minimum bet is 3, and max is 300, so the game is versatile in terms of pay-ins. Once you have made your initial bet, you get dealt two cards face up, and the dealer gets 3 cards face down. If your two cards total less than 5 points, you can get your bet back and end the round. If the total is between six and nine, you have the option to get half your bet back and end the round. If your total is ten or more, you can sit play your two cards.
Whatever the total of your two cards, you can also chose to get a third card and increase your score, but then you must make a 'play on' bet, the same size as your first. You then get a third card to boost your points, and your total is compared to the total of the 3 cards the dealer got. Remember that the dealer always gets three cards, so it is a good idea to play on if your have 10 or more!
Card points are the same as in blackjack - picture cards are worth 10 points each, an ace is worth 1 point and all other cards allocated points according to their rank. Since you cannot bust, the more points you have, the better! One thing to watch out for is that if the dealer has a red ace, he automatically wins the round. You lose your first bet, and your 'play on' bet is pushed. Otherwise, the hand with the most points wins.
Payout is 1:1 on all bets, which seems horrible doesn't it? But there are enough extra payouts to make up for this. With a three card hand, Three of a Kind, from 5's to K's, plays 3:1 on your first bet, and Three Face Cards pays 1.5:1 on your first bet.
Finally, if you opt to pay an extra one credit to enable the Progressive prizes, there are more payouts as follows: Any 30 pays 10x, Three of a Kind 5's to 10's pays 50x, Three of a Kind J's to K's pays 100x, Three of a Kind face cards pays 10% of the Progressive Jackpot, and the big prize of the whole Progressive Jackpot is paid out when you get a hand with Three Kings of Hearts. These bonus payouts really make the extra credit side bet worth while.
Stravaganza might seem complicated, but it really is just Blackjack without the busts. It's a fun, addicting game, with some enormous prizes. Plus it's fun to play and it looks great on any computer. Try it now, and become part of the Stravaganza elite!
