Baccarat Progressive is a great 6 deck baccarat game from Playtech. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is smooth and exciting, and the payouts are great. The object of baccarat is to get a hand with a point total closest to 9. Aces are one point, 2-9 are counted at face value, and tens and face cards count as zero. If your hand adds up to a two digit number, you only count the second digit (for example, 17 is counted as 7, and 24 is counted as 4). Wagers are made on the banker's hand, the player's hand, or on a tie. Both banker and player are dealt two cards. If the player's hand totals 5 or less, a third card is automatically drawn. The banker may or may not draw a third card, depending on the player's cards. In the end, the hand closest to 9 wins.
Wins are paid 2:1, and ties are paid 9:1, provided you bet on the right outcome. Wagers can be in several amounts, with coin sizes up to 100 credits, and multiple coins allowed for every round. This lets players of all levels join in on the fun! In addition, there are progressive bets which you can make on the side. The payouts for these range from 10x your progressive bet, through 10000x your bet, and up to the whole Progressive Jackpot. Progressive bets payout for winning hands that are Natural 6-9, Ace+8, and Suited Ace+8. The big Progressive Jackpot is won when both the player and the banker have matching hands of Suited Ace+8.
